For a long time, it has been difficult to seamlessly install third-party handlebar grips on BMW motorcycle models equipped with electronic throttle technology. This issue arises because BMW integrates the handlebar grips with the electronic throttle sensor housing into a single, non-detachable unit during manufacturing. This presents a significant obstacle for BMW motorcycle owners who seek customization. To address this, we have redesigned the electronic throttle sensor housing and internal parts, allowing them to replace certain OEM parts without damage and facilitating the easy installation of grips from ShawnStudio and other selected brands.
The STF004 housing is made from the same nylon PA6 material as OEM parts. Internal parts are made by nylon PA12. And two aluminum 6061 semi-circles outside in various colors to match your style. These materials boast excellent mechanical performance and weather resistance, making it fully suitable for the motorcycle's operating environment. We ran several long-term road tests to ensure that the STF004 performs perfectly in the critical role of throttle control.
