As part of the ShawnStudio RnineT Super G/S project, this luggage rack is an indispensable component in achieving the rugged off-road style of the RnineT. The overall design employs numerous straight lines, crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum with CNC machining to create beveled edges that protect both the rider and passenger. A custom curved mold is finally used to achieve smooth transitions.
After chemical polishing, the surface is meticulously sanded with 220‑grit glass beads, resulting in an extremely fine matte texture. It is then anodized to enhance surface hardness. Beneath the exquisite aluminum alloy casing, two layers of 5mm‑thick stainless steel brackets, treated with heat and spray coating, enable this shelving system to support up to 25 kg in weight.
* It has to be used with BMW Urban seat. Not capable with other seats.
